Methodology
Scoring Approach
Each product is evaluated across 10-17 weighted dimensions grouped into core, technical, temporal, and market categories. Every score uses a 1-5 scale with evidence attribution.
- 5 = Best-in-class, sets the standard
- 4 = Comprehensive, competitive
- 3 = Functional but incomplete
- 2 = Minimal / partial
- 1 = Absent / not applicable
Three Scenarios
Optimistic — Feature-complete view. Scores based on "does this capability exist in the codebase?" Useful for technical differentiation and investor pitches.
Realistic — Bias-corrected. 6-factor debiasing: dimension selection, weight manipulation, maturity inflation, competitor underscoring, missing market dimensions, temporal survivorship. Added market traction and enterprise readiness dimensions.
Pessimistic — Skeptical investor view. Zero users = max 2/5. Unproven claims = 1/5. Fragile integrations penalized. Market dimensions weighted highest.
Transparency
ZELTREX is both the subject and author of this analysis. The realistic and pessimistic scenarios are designed to counteract this inherent bias. Competitor scores are based on public information and may undercount private capabilities. All data is recalculated weekly.
